Cleaners are professionals who are very skilled at dealing with bonded liquid spills. It is important to understand what they can and cannot do when cleaning your bond spill, and also to understand their backgrounds and training, if any.

No two cleaners are exactly the same, and each is capable of major cleaning – even though they will, of course, spend more time with each spill. Some of the most common types of cleaners are described below and will be useful when dealing with what can be a rather difficult cleaning job.

Water is obviously the most basic cleaning method. Water should be used in particular to get rid of warm spots and to clean up any oil or other sticky substance.

When dealing with warm spots, ensure the area is well-wrapped in waterproof insulation tape. Then apply the water on the insulation tape and the cold liquid will penetrate the film and then float off into the air. The hot spots will then float off easily.

When cleaning up the oil residue on a vehicle, it is advisable to sweep out the old clean car from beneath the hood and then get a good strong broom or stir broom and sweep the engine bay area, using water from the sprayer as a lubricant. Use some of the water to rub the oil from the windshield, and then scrub it away using a soft rag.

If this is to be done on the car’sframe, however, use a strong scrubber with a few sweeping strokes and let the area dry. Then use some petroleum jelly or some water to get rid of any dirt.

For these locations, however, it would be a good idea to use cold water instead of the hot water, if possible. Cold water can penetrate the film and remove oil residue.

For the other types of spill, a sponge soaked in water will do just fine, even if you are going to use some drying agents. When cleaning your oil tank, the key is to blow up the oil spill as you clean it, so that you can get it under the hood. Avoid pushing the tank too far, as it will clog the oil feed mechanism.

When cleaning the accelerator cylinder, the principle is the same as that used when cleaning the oil tank. You may want to brush the up and down movement out of the cylinder with a soft cloth, if possible, and then use a rag to wipe the surface clean.

When cleaning your undercarriage, take care to avoid putting too much water on it. The extra water can lead to a leak, which can ruin your ride.
